Sensei Amy Tomalin
Sensei Amy began her training in 2003, aged 9. Her training began under the Kent Shotokan Karate Clubs (KSKC) to which Kick Start Karate is a member of the association today. Her black belt was awarded to her aged 14 in 2008 and she accomplished her instructors certificate in 2010.
Sensei Amy began teaching in 2010 and founded Kick Start Shotokan Karate in 2016 after establishing two successful nights of training in schools in Berkshire. She is fully DBS Checked and First Aid trained and holds the relevant insurances for karate instruction.
Sensei Amy has always shown a keen interest in sport, taking part in several team sports during her teenage years and going further after school to complete her Level 2 and 3 in Fitness and Personal Training. Sensei Amy is a qualified Science SEND Teacher and has a Honours Degree in Sport, Fitness & Coaching.
